Eyesight is of extreme importance in the learning process. It is estimated that as much as 80% of what children learn occurs through the eyes – and difficulties in learning can be a strong sign of eye problems in kids. If your kid struggles to learn simple things such as the alphabet or can’t really tell between one color and the other, something might be wrong with their eyesight and this might be what’s holding them back in school.
This kind of problem usually develops at an early age and it can start at 18 months. Children don’t know how their eyesight is supposed to be, so whatever they see and however they see it, will be their own version of normal. This means it’s the parents’ job to look for signs of vision problems in kids, and the sooner you detect them, the better.
In the following list, we will introduce 5 child eye problems symptoms. Try to pay attention and see if you can observe any of these in your child and if you do search for specialized help and find a place where you can do a vision test for kids.
