Being a parent can be a source of anxiety. We love our children so much and we want to protect them from everything: we don’t want them to be hurt, either psychologically or physically. We want them to be safe but also to have confidence in them and to take risks and that once they have grown up, they can live and face the world around them with your help and presence.
To do this, you have to let them do, and especially those 8 “dangerous” things that are more frightening to you than to them! This list is only a starting point for reflection. Use your common sense to know if your child is ready or not to use a knife for example and if you have to supervise him or leave him alone.
