1. Encourage Your Kid To Drink Liquids

When your kid has a fever it’s very likely they have some dehydration symptoms. After all, the lack of fluids inside their bodies is one of the reasons why they can’t maintain normal body temperature. The higher the fever is, the more dehydrated they might become.

Drinking water or any other type of liquids is extremely necessary! Especially if your kid is suffering not only from fever but also from diarrhea or constant vomit, it’s very important for them to stay hydrated!

If your kid is not a big fan of plain water, try adding some juice into the water so it gains some type of flavor, fruit juices are also a great option, natural juices are always better but if you don’t have them around, dilute them with normal water to decrease the quantity of sugar you’ll be giving to your kid.

Colored Gelatin is also a great idea if your kid doesn’t want to “drink” anything. Try to make them in different funny shapes so your kid is more likely to eat it!
