You should never keep unattached buttons within your toddler’s reach. Buttons are easy to pick up by toddlers and you know exactly that the first thing they will do with them is: putting them in their mouths.
If your kid swallows these buttons, they might choke on them, which, obviously, puts their lives at risk.
Buttons can be colorful and shiny which catches your kid’s attention, so stash them somewhere far away from reach.
