The 10-year-old Syrian refugee and author, Bana al-Abed, was only 8 when she tweeted the details of what was happening in Aleppo and shared it with the entire world.
Soon after she shared her story, she was offered a book deal! Bana made sure to use the power of her words and her fame for good; she tried to make Syria peaceful again by drawing the attention of worldwide leaders to her cause. Bana al-Abed has become one of the youngest activists who are determined to change the world.
