10 Things You Should and Should Never Do While Pregnant!

6. Don’t expect to do everything right

You just need to chill! Don’t try to come up with any to-do lists or plans for your maternity leave. Your actual goal during maternity leave would be survival, not getting things done. So, you may want to forget about cleaning, finishing projects, or even creating photo albums.

Also, try to have zero expectations of how life will be like after your baby joins you. For instance, you might think you’ll be able to go back to work after sixteen weeks but then change your mind completely or you may plan to stay home with your newborn but end up itching to be back at work.

Parenthood experts advise new parents to never expect to be in control of it all because each baby comes with his/her own needs, time-frame, priorities and way of doing things. As a new mom, you should take time to learn rather than show off your expertise to save yourself unnecessary pressure.
