Another common condition in children is flat foot. All babies are born with flat feet, but as they grow older, the feet develop their natural arch. In some cases, the feet take longer to develop and kids are left with the condition known as “flat foot.”
Do not fret if you see this in your own child because the condition is not painful usually goes away naturally and the kids’ feet grow into a natural shape.
However, if it doesn’t, your child will need a flatfoot reconstruction surgery that is performed by an orthopedic surgeon who creates an arch in the foot to improve its alignment.
