#1 – Make time for your kids

First things first, one of the most common factors that contribute to stress in kids is when parents don’t give them time.

It is understandable that parents may hardly find time because of how hard they work to provide for their family and buy their kids everything they want and need, but that could lead them to lose their kids’ love and respect.

Parents should know that their kids need more than your money, they need your emotional support. They need your affection and care, otherwise, they will suffer psychologically and physically form stress and anxiety triggered by neglect.

It is your responsibility as a parent to make time for your kids, during weekdays and weekends, to listen to their concerns, give them advice when they’re feeling lost, or at least just cuddle with them. Don’t underestimate the importance of physical affection, it works wonders in reducing anxiety in children and adults alike.

You will notice how spending more quality time with your kids to bond and enjoying indoor or outdoor games with them will relieve some of the stress and improve their physical health as well.
