8. Not Giving Them Credit

Achievements are sometimes very hard to come in life, especially for children. Therefore, make sure that you never try to cash in on credit when your child achieves something. All the credit is due to him or her alone, and you are not allowed to claim part of it, even if you did facilitate that achievement.

Save the children at your house by allowing them to revel in the happiness of their achievements. Credit for the family matter too, but not on the child’s expense. If, however, you feel strongly about taking credit, then you might be in need of some parenting classes and a complete revision of your priorities.
