#6 – Keeping the baby in a carrier
© Brightside
In fact, there is a right and a wrong way to use a baby carrier. To use one properly, you need to make sure that the baby’s legs are supported by the carrier in a way similar to how a mom would hold her child.
This way, the baby’s spine won’t be damaged and the joints will stay in place.
To avoid dislocation, dysplasia, or other hip diseases, never let the child’s legs dangle when using a carrier.
