This Is What You Need To Know About Child Cancer

#10 – The issue of misinformation

If kids do not get what they need in terms of answers about their cancer from you, they would look for other ways to obtain their objectives. This would be through internet resources, especially if the kids are old enough to know how to google and search.

The problem is that fear can hinder the progress of the therapy and treatment these little angels receive, as they read things about deaths of cancer and stories of children who had cancer and are no longer around.

A lot of what is online is misinformation based on false grounds. Accessing these pieces of baseless information during sensitive stages of therapy can be lethal for both the sick kids and their parents.

You cannot do much about the abnormal development of genes which cause childhood cancer, but there is a way to stop the growth of cancerous tumors if a cancer diagnosis is considered and taken at an early stage.
