#9 – Feeling scared is normal

Fear is the number-one feeling which would conquer the mind of any parent who has just learned about his or her kid’s cancer. What should be borne in mind is that fear is normal, but it should not be let to control you; otherwise, you would give up on hope. Your kid needs you and your support more than s/he ever did. Hence, you have to battle cancer together.

It is okay to address and let those loads of worries and fear out, but make sure your focus is laid on making the cancer treatment succeed. Your kid must be afraid too, so be with him or her and address the problem together.
