#2 – The bathroom trips will go on

It seems that a tiny human resting on your bladder isn’t the only reason you kept racing to the bathroom. Your pelvic floor muscles will be weak after giving birth, making it hard to hold in urine.

Bladder control issues are common after pregnancy and delivery because of a combination of several months of pelvic pressure and genital issues’ relaxation. However, you won’t have to worry too much since the pelvic floor work usually goes back to normal over time.

Plus, you can speed up the recovery by doing kegel exercises to help your pelvic floor muscles get stronger.
It’s best to start these exercises as soon as you feel completely healed after childbirth.
