To reduce the risk of developing food allergies, some parents try to limit the foods that their children eat. But many scientists and professors agree that giving children foods with allergens at an early age is actually beneficial to their health because their immune system learns to react to these allergens properly.

According to a study, some parents removed peanuts from their children’s diet while other parents tried feeding their kids peanut butter before turning one year old. The results were that the children who were exposed to peanut butter from a very early age were less likely to have allergic reactions than those who never had it.
