Researchers at the National Sleep Foundation have found that nearly 80 percent of women experience more disturbed sleep during pregnancy. The culprit is the hormone level, which explains why pregnant moms get very tired.

But, pregnant women shouldn’t just stand there and watch, it’s best to do something about the loss of sleep to avoid nausea, bad mood, and even longer labor.

In fact, a study from the NSF also revealed that women who had less than six hours of sleep a night experienced extended labors.
So make sure to fix your sleep schedule, and if you can’t fall asleep, try to relax or read a book. Just stay inactive. Also, walk every day and drink a lot of fluids.
